To warm-up today we did 10 minutes of Turkish Get-ups.
Then we jumped into a 5 x 3 of overhead squats.
For the actual WOD we did a 15 minute Cindy. Kurt and I matched each other with 15 rounds. Christine did perfect reps for the whole workout (nice job!).
To "cool down" we did Tabata sit-ups.
Mark was MIA again. Mark, you need to get back to the gym before softball season starts, the Topsfield Yankees need you in peak condition at the start of the season. We don't have time for you to play yourself back into shape! I don't buy the busy excuse, the only thing you are busy with at 6:00 AM is sleep!

Sorry Mark...I was not aware you haven't been in class, but crossfit is a requirement to play on the Yankees. Please post your times from home to Joe's Blog.
WOD-15 rounds...Thanks for keeping track Joe. 20 on full Cindy will be tough.
That's more like it! Thank you! My goal is to change the "Mark MIA" back to "Mark 6AM", it is in the planning stages now. As for softball, trust me, I will be in softball shape come opening day. My wife has suggested my shape has already become much like that of a pasty white softball. In preparation for playing first base I have spent up to 15 minutes standing in the same place (3sets with 5min rest), and if I am destined for the bench, well, I have logged countless hours practicing for that.
Kurt, I was kidding... of course I have been in class. Cindy did a great job running it this morning, she is really nice. I really like that shirt you had on, brings out your eyes. OK then, see you in the morning!

Please add to your work out jumping as high as you can with your left arm stretched up as high as it will go...in preparation for my throws to first.
